OTi-2172 USB Flash Disk Controller

The OTi-2172 is a cost-effective and high-performance USB2.0 Mass Storage Class Peripheral controller targeted for application of USB Flash Dicks. The design complies with USB High Speed Specification (480MB/s), Version 2.0.

The OTi-2172 accommodates up to 8 Flash devices, with any mix of different densities, on the same PCB. It works with comprehensive Flash memory technologies (SLC, MLC, and AG-AND) available on the market. The Controller has write-protect capability to prevent writing data to Flash. The controller has one LED control pin. You can program one of the display modes-operation, suspend, and standby, through the production program provided by OTi. Value-added application software for security and data management is also available.

This controller can operate on Win XP, Win 2000, Windows ME, and Mac OS without any driver installation.

This OTi-2172 is available in cost-saving 48-pin LQFP (7mm x 7mm) package.
